I am in agreement with "MECO puts up roadblocks to solar installations" (Letters, Dec. 20). My experience is identical to the letter writer's.
The $3,000 survey fee (maybe you can, maybe you can't) seems like a device to weed out smaller capitalized projects and was a deal-breaker for me.
I hope that the 70 percent goal for clean energy sources does not end up going to the top 1 percent.
