HOOLEHUA - Things got rather heated between the University of Hawaii and Chaminade men's basketball teams on the Friendly Isle on Saturday night.
When all the shoving, posturing and stink-eye was over with, Hawaii came away with a 104-93 victory before 832 fans at "The Barn," Molokai High School's gym.
Five technical fouls were called in the game - four against the Rainbow Warriors.

"It was high-intensity, a couple of guys squared off here and there," said UH coach Gib Arnold. "I definitely don't like to see that stuff. You have to play the game with passion, but it has its limits."
Christian Standhardinger scored 20 points, and Isaac Fotu and Brandon Spearman each added 18 for the 'Bows (5-3), who snapped a two-game losing streak.
With 3 minutes, 39 seconds remaining, Hawaii's Vander Joaquim dunked and was fouled by De'Andre Haskins. Joaquim then stood over Haskins and started to jaw at him. Haskins popped up and started talking back.

Players from both teams raced to the baseline to break things up.
"It was a good, clean play on the ball. They called a foul," Haskins said. "He dunked on me you might say. He was pretty hyped about his dunk and he started going off and everybody started going off."
The teams were sent to their benches, and Joaquim and teammate Jace Tavita were charged with technical fouls.
"We want to prove we're the best on the island and emotions got pretty high with a couple of players," Fotu said.
About six minutes into the game, with the 'Bows leading 22-13, Tavita and Chaminade's Kevin Hu shoved each other near halfcourt and had to be separated. Tavita was charged with a personal foul and technical foul, while Hu was assessed a technical.
"I'm going to sit on this one for 48 hours and make a decision after that," Arnold said of Tavita. "I'm not pleased with that especially from a captain."
About 40 seconds later, a technical foul was called on Fotu after a basket by the Silverswords' Lee Bailey.
"I guess my elbow got a little high and caught someone in the head," said Fotu, who added it was an accident. "I just tried to box out."
The 'Bows, who were playing their first game on Molokai and improved to 7-2 in Maui County overall, took their largest lead at 74-55 after a 3-pointer by Manroop Clair with 15:03 remaining.
Chaminade got as close as 84-79 after Waly Coulibaly's field goal with 6:09 left.
"There was never a point in the game where we thought it was out of reach," said Silverswords coach Eric Bovaird. "Our biggest concern was whether we could get stops. We got stops and it got us back in the game."
Bennie Murray and Haskins both scored 21 points for Chaminade (3-7).
"Everybody loves an underdog and I felt we performed to our highest capabilities and I think people appreciate that," Murray said.
