Toys for Tots has been providing toys to needy children at Christmastime since 1947 when Marine reservists in Los Angeles distributed 5,000 toys. The next year, Marine Corps reservists across the country made it a nationwide campaign. According to the Street Bikers United website, the objective today remains what it originally was:
"To bring the joy of Christmas to America's needy children."
Do your part. Take a new toy to tomorrow's parade or make an online donation.
