Tiana Camarillo, last season's Maui Interscholastic League Division II Girls Basketball Player of the Year, scored 16 points as Seabury Hall began its bid to repeat as league champion with a 47-23 victory over Lanai on Friday in Lanai City.
Alley Rudow, an MIL first-team All-Star last season, added 10 points for the Spartans, who led 27-8 at halftime and 37-10 after three quarters.
Katelyn Sarme scored eight points for the Pine Lasses, who were also playing their first MIL game of the season.
