Second Photo: Maui Hotel & Lodging Association Executive Director Lisa Paulson said that 500 Maui seniors, including a group from Hana, were served holiday meals and given gift bags at the popular holiday event. Serving up the meals were staffers from 13 island hotels. "We really treasure our kupuna," Paulson said. "The visitor industry (is) supposed to stick to ham and turkey, and they never do," she said. "They always go above and beyond." The Fairmont Kea Lani, Maui serves up personal pumpkin pies that are works of art.
