Lahainaluna defeats Kamehameha Maui

Three Lahainaluna High School players scored in double digits and another three had at least eight points in a 72-15 win over Kamehameha Maui on Wednesday in a Maui Interscholastic League girls basketball game at Kaulaheanuio-kamoku Gym in Pukalani.

Petiola Tuakoi scored 11 points for the Lunas (2-0), who extended their MIL all-sport record with their 75th straight league win. Keleah Akio-Koloi and Lindsey Bates each scored 10 points.

Ashley Tanoue-Singson had 11 points for the Warriors, who were playing their first MIL game of the season.
