Golf Fore Gals' fifth annual Maui Women's Classic recently raised $1,350 for Maui Economic Opportunity.
Sixty 'gals' turned out for the event, which also featured a silent auction.
"We are both proud and delighted that we are able to help out such a worthwhile cause as MEO, who make a difference in the communities on Maui," said Golf Fore Gals' organizer Diane Fru.
The sixth annual Maui Women's Classic is scheduled for Nov. 16, 2013 at Wailea Old Blue, with food catered by Mulligans on the Blue. The Golf Fore Gals goal is to grow the event and continue to fundraise for charities on Maui.
Golf For Gals membership is made up of working women, retired women, young women, stay-at-home moms and professionals. Members range from beginners to seasoned golfers. The club provides women with a fun, safe and friendly environment to discover the game of golf, expand their golf and business network and benefit from being part of the golf community.
