Baldwin alumnus reportedly among Oregon State players arrested

Oregon State defensive tackle Mana Rosa, a Baldwin High School alumnus, was among three Beavers players arrested and jailed early Saturday morning on allegations of assault and disorderly conduct, according to The Oregonian.

Rosa, a junior; senior defensive tackle Rudolph Fifita and junior linebacker Dyllon Mafi are being held in Benton County and Linn County jails. Rosa is listed as Tyler Rosa, according to an inmate list, the newspaper said. According to the police report, obtained by The Oregonian, Fifita and another man got into an argument, which led to Rosa and Mafi getting involved, and then a friend of the man then came to his aid and he also got punched.

Rosa, the 2008 Maui Interscholastic League Defensive Player of the Year, has played in all 12 Beavers' games this season, recording four tackles.
