Maximillion came to the animal shelter more than 140 days ago, and he's finally getting his happy ending! He's going to a new home thanks to our newest transfer program "Wings of Aloha." In the program, the Maui Humane Society sends adoptable animals to the Mainland for adoption with less-crowded shelters or rescue groups. Thanks to public donations, the society was able to fly this amazing fella to Canada where he will find a home with the Hess-Mckay family. This family has helped the Maui shelter transfer six cats in the past three years by either flying home with them or having the society fly them to their waiting arms. Maximillion's laid-back attitude, gigantic 13-pound good looks and sweet demeanor really paid off. When the Hess-Mckay family offered to take any cat, it was unanimous, it was Maximillion turn! If you want to help give more animals a happy ending of their own, call the Puunene shelter or go online to www.MauiHumaneSociety.org.
