I would like to give thanks to the amazing people of Maui who helped me after a bicycle accident on Aug. 18 on Haleakala Highway in Kula.
Your generosity and kindness are always in my thoughts. I don't think there is an adequate way to let you know how much comfort you gave me during this scary time, other than saying that I felt quite blessed and lucky to have you there.
There are so many to thank: the bike tour leader, people who stopped to help me, emergency medical technicians, emergency room doctors and staff, hospital staff, my surf instructors and airport personnel. I am truly grateful for your support.
