"Lei of Aloha 6" is the theme for an annual open house celebrating the holiday season and a benefit for Hokulani Holt's halau hula, Pa'u O Hi'iaka.
The event will take place from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday at The Old Wailuku Inn at Ulupono, 2199 Kahookele St. in Wailuku.
Those attending can tour the historic Old Wailuku Inn and celebrate in the style of 1930s Hawaii with music and hula by Holt's halau, and readings of Don Blanding's poems. There will also be a Hawaiian country store with gift items for sale. Light snacks and beverages will be served. There will be free parking and a shuttle service available at the county parking lot at High and Kaohu streets. Tickets are $25. For more information, call 244-5897.
