Kiffmann Taekwondo black belts won 17 medals, including six golds, during the Maui Open on Nov. 17 at War Memorial Gym in Wailuku.
In the 10-12 boys division, middleweight Brandon Yoshikawa won gold in sparring and silver in forms. Ronson Ishikawa won a gold in forms and silver in sparring in the 12-13 boys lightweight division. Al Macaraeg won forms gold and sparring bronze in the 10-11 boys lightweight division. Also winning golds were Josh Kepler (12-13 boys heavyweight sparring), Adounay Dabo (senior male featherweight sparring) and Cassie Kepler (senior female finweight sparring).
Justin Koja won silver in 12-13 boys lightweight forms and bronze in 10-12 boys middleweight sparring. Reynaldo Segundo took silver in 10-11 boys lightweight sparring, John Currell was a silver medalist in senior male featherweight sparring and Imelda Castro claimed silver in senior female featherweight sparring.

William Kepler took bronze in 10-12 boys middleweight sparring, and Christian Sialana and Deven Bio each won sparring bronzes in the 14-17 junior male flyweight division.
