Masayuki "Mag" Miyake, 89, of Kahului, passed away on November 10, 2012 at his home. He was born in Kahului on December 13, 1922.
Visitation will begin at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at Kahului Hongwanji Mission; service over urn will be at 5 p.m.
Family requests casual attire and no flowers.
Ballard Family Mortuary is assisting with the arrangements.
Mr. Miyake was the owner/operator of Miyake Fish Market. He was also a veteran of the United States Army.
He is survived by his wife, Bernice Hanae Miyake; sons, David (Irene) Miyake, and Howard Miyake; sister, Mieko Yamada; brother-in-law, Ayato Kiyomoto; 4 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren.
