Damiana Bareng Juan, 107, of Kahului, Maui, passed away on November 8, 2012, at her home under Hospice care. She was born on September 22, 1905, in Laoag, Philippines.
Visitation will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Friday, November 23, 2012, at Christ the King Catholic Church; prayer service will begin at 7:30 p.m. Visitation will also be held from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, November 24, 2012, at Christ the King Catholic Church; mass will begin at 11:30 a.m.; burial will follow, 12:30 p.m., at Maui Memorial Park Cemetery in Wailuku.
Damiana is survived by her son, Mamerto Gregoria Juan; daughters, Adela (Florencio) Villanueva, Angelina (Gonzalo) Lapid, Teresita (Edwin) Martin; 21 grandchildren; 37 great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandchild.
