Oakley to open in Kaanapali
Sports retailer Oakley will open its first Maui store Friday at Whalers Village in Kaanapali.
The store will host a grand opening event from 4:30 to 7 p.m. featuring members of the Oakley Surf Team and a Hawaiian blessing performed by the Rev. Earl Kukahiko.
The store will have free gift items available with purchase, including branded beach towels, reusable totes, can coolers and golf balls.
Ray Sarafian has been named store manager for the new location.
The Kaanapali shop will be the third Oakley store in Hawaii, adding to two others on Oahu. The company has 250 stores worldwide.
