Helen Weisner Hartle, 87, of Haiku, passed away on November 4, 2012 in Kahului. She was born on September 17, 1925 in Coraopolis, Pennsylvania.
Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Tuesday, November 13, 2012, at St. Joseph Church in Makawao, Mass at 10 a.m., burial will follow at 11:30 a.m. at the Maui Veteran's Cemetery.

Helen was a long time educator in Hawaii and New York State. She was also a member of St. Thomas Church in Delmar, New York, and of St. Joseph Church in Makawao.
She is survived by her daughter, Mary Ellen (David J.) Rostetter; son, Joseph Frank Hartle; sisters, Ann (Richard) Arena, and Mary Ruth Waldron; grandchildren, Aimee L. Rostetter, Ryan (Lori) Rouse, Tyler (Brittney) Hartle, David Lucas Rostetter, Emily (Brent) Madsen, Joanna Bohn, and Daniel Rostetter; great-grandchildren, Cass and Ella Hartle, and Elsa L. Madsen.
