Beggars could be workers if they so choose

November 4, 2012
The Maui News

If those who stand in front of Walmart and other giant retailers for hours on end holding signs proclaiming their need for cash due to their destitute situation (they can stand for hours, making them able to work) would simply use the beach access bathrooms to clean up and apply themselves ever so slightly, they could perform the same act earning up to $10 an hour holding roadside signs all over Maui for local businesses.

A sure sign that begging for money and all that goes with it has convinced those who donate that the fortunate feel obligated to help those affected by the failing economy. To me this just shows how divided we are economically. The rich get richer and the middle class, etc., get poorer. A tiny peek into what is going on here if you look close.
