As the election comes closer, a new rash of Michelle Obama-bashing is on the Internet. There are a number of fact-checking websites, two that are easy to navigate are snopes.com and factcheck.org. A few minutes of fact-checking shows that:
* No, Michelle does not wear transparent or indecent clothes. Those pictures are photoshopped.
* No, Michelle did not spend $12 million or use any taxpayer money for clothes.
* No, Michelle never filed for divorce, no matter what Donald Trump says.
* No, Michelle does not have a larger staff than other first ladies. In fact, she has fewer than Jackie Kennedy or Lady Bird Johnson and about the same as Betty Ford and Laura Bush.
Whatever their political views, everyone dislikes being lied to. By spending a few minutes on a fact-checking website, people could protect themselves from being tricked by the people or groups that spread this kind of malicious nonsense.
