Three free AARP driver safety classes for veterans are scheduled for November.
Classes will be held from 8:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the following dates and locations: Kihei Community Center on Nov. 7; West Maui Senior Center on Nov. 13; and Kahului Community Center on Nov. 17.
Upon completion of the course, participants may qualify for a discount on their automobile insurance. (Participants are advised to check with their auto insurance agent for details.)
Veterans' spouses, including domestic partners, widows and widowers, dependents and children are also eligible to take advantage of the free promotion.
Participants redeeming the free course offer will not be asked to provide any form of veteran identification, but they will be required to fill out a coupon. Discounted course coupons are available for download at www.aarp.org/veterans.
