I'm a retired person (former owner of Island Answering Service Inc.). I lost my business due to technology: the cellphone.
Please let all the senior citizens on fixed incomes know what Hirono did when she agreed with President Barack Obama and use the $400-plus billion to support all the kupuna. I can now get eyeglasses once a year (as my eyes grow dim). If I lose my hearing, my Ohana Care will pay for hearing aids - all at no cost to myself or any other of our kupuna on Medicare, and I get to pick my own doctors.

Do not let Linda Lingle (and the Republican Party on the Mainland) get away with the lie about Obamacare. My share of the Medicare Part B hasn't changed. Not one penny more out of my extremely low Income. No more HMOs denying me coverage because of my family history of heart attacks.
