The Maui News

The Hawaii Meth Project has announced the newest members of its Teen Advisory Council.

The new members include Maui County teens Joey Cardoza of St. Anthony High School, Oksana Gil and Tyler Rabara of King Kekaulike, Rachel Nguyen of Seabury Hall, Malia Refamonte and Aja Toscano of Lahainaluna, Melissa Agcaoili of Lanai High and Hope Will of Molokai High.

The Teen Advisory Council is made up of 21 high school students representing public and private schools from across Hawaii. They were selected through an application and interview process.

Council members will be involved in a variety of outreach activities, and each will create and implement a service project in his or her community during this school year. In addition, the teens will represent the Hawaii Meth Project at community events, initiate activities at their schools, and engage peers online via social media.
