Maui Mall recently awarded Alexandra Pardico, a junior at Maui High School, an iPad as part of its Maui Mall Family Sundays event. In addition, Zaylie Tamashiro from Lihikai Elementary School was awarded an iPod Touch. Both winners were randomly drawn from a selection of nominated students who were recognized for their academic and community achievements.
Teachers are encouraged to nominate students for the monthly iPad and iPod drawing through November.
The next Family Sundays and iPad and iPod giveaway event on Sunday will highlight visual arts.
