One of his past accomplishments, or more correctly, a nonaccomplishment, was his pulling the plug on Maui Gateway, the Internet service provider he founded in 1996. Very suddenly, in 2005, and without any advance notice whatsoever, the numerous customers of one of the island's top two ISPs found themselves without the ability to email or access the Internet. Totally cut off.
That was not good, George.
Anyway, if he could care so little for paying customers back then, how much can he care for mere constituents today?
