The Charter Commission of Maui County let down all citizens of Maui County by failing to produce an amendment to the charter concerning district representation.
The other three counties have district representation. Much of the evil of county government could be greatly improved by district representation.
Also, the amendment for a four-year term limit for council members is ludicrous. Please vote no on all amendments. Please do not reward bad behavior.
