Attorneys Frank and Judy Spees will present three talks around Maui this week. The Spees will offer a presentation titled "Fiscal Cliff and Congressional Deadlock: What They Mean for Estate Planning and Charitable Giving" at the Rotary Club of Kihei-Wailea meeting from noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday at Mulligans on the Blue restaurant in Wailea.

The Speeses are past Rotary presidents and have been estate-planning attorneys for more than 30 years.

Their daughter, Kristen Spees, will discuss her Rotary Exchange experience in Argentina. Kristen Spees graduated from Thomas Jefferson School of Law.

The public is welcome. For more information, call 269-2967 or visit www.rckw.org.

The Speeses will also present a free seminar titled "You Must Die in 2012!" at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the Garden Room at Kalama Heights, located at 101 Kanani Road in Kihei.

The seminar will cover how to avoid a 55 percent tax on your assets at death, how to avoid court when you die or get hurt, and how to stay off life support when you are terminally ill.
