Warriors remain unbeaten

The Kamehameha Schools Maui girls volleyball team moved one win away from a perfect Maui Interscholastic League regular season, and won for the 64th time in its last 65 MIL matches overall, by sweeping Lahainaluna on Tuesday in Pukalani.

The Warriors, bidding for a ninth consecutive overall Division I league championship, won 25-11, 25-15, 25-23.

Leimana Kane had 11 kills for Kamehameha (11-0), Anuhea Kaiaokamalie had eight and Sienna Davis seven. Bobbi-lin Kalama had three aces, and she and Kailee Tabaco each had nine assists.

Kamehameha is assured of the No. 1 seed in next week's MIL D-I tournament. Lahainaluna will be seeded fifth.
