Ralph Yutaka Yafuso, 77, of Kahului, Maui passed away on July 6, 2012 at his home, under Hospice care. He was born on June 5, 1935 in Hilo, Hawaii.
Private services were held at Maui Veteran's Cemetery. Nakamura Mortuary assisted with arrangements.
Ralph retired from the Department of Transportation, Kahului Airport as a Construction and Maintenance Superintendent.
He is survived by his wife, Amy; two sons, Blake (Karen), and Matthew (Jae); nieces Doreen (Randy) Ranne, Cynthia (Edward) Shimabuku; nephews Crayton and Grant Nakamoto; brother, Morikichi (Janet) Yafuso; granddaughter Erin; grandnieces Kaci, Kami Shimabuku and Kelli Nakamoto; grandnephews Jared and Cory Nakamoto; and many other nieces and nephews.
He enjoyed golfing, fishing, helping people, and traveling, especially to Vegas.
