Sky and Cheyenne Nelson of Redding, Calif., and former residents of Lahaina, announce the marriage of their daughter Kalika Nicole Nelson to Christopher Aaron Good on June 30 at the backyard garden of the bride's parents' home.
Kalika is a 2001 graduate of Lahainaluna High School. She is the owner of her own custom jewelry line called Kalika Nicole Designs.
Christopher is the son of William and Judy Good of Whidbey Island, Wash. He is a police officer in Reno, Nev., where the couple resides.
The matron of honor was Sara Zapata of Palo Cedro, Calif. Bridesmaids included the groom's sister, Kathleen Beach of Cameron Park, Calif.; high school friend Kelvie (Shelton) Zamuda, formerly of Lahaina, now Las Vegas, Nev.; Kylee Hansen of Reno; and fiancee of the bride's brother Dylan, Katie Oiler of Redding, Calif.
The best man was Aaron Flickenger, a fellow police officer in Reno. Groomsmen included the groom's brother, Todd Good of Redding, brother-in-law Jason Beach of Cameron Park, Calif., and the bride's brothers, Luke Nelson formerly of Lahaina and also a Lahainaluna graduate, now residing in Walnut Creek, Calif.; and Dylan Nelson, formerly of Lahaina who attended Kaahumanu Hou Christian School, now residing in Reno. Two other groomsmen were fellow Reno police officers Dan Knox and Paul Sifre.
Special guests included the bride's 83-year-old grandmother Marybeth Schubert Hawkins of Colorado Springs, Colo., and the groom's 84-year-old grandmother Juanita Nollie Netolicky Bear of Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
