Business forum scheduled
A small-business forum will be held beginning at noon Oct. 11 at the Courtyard Maui Kahului Airport hotel.
Participants in the free forum will hear discussion on questions such as:
* What are the available EZ tax credits for businesses?
* What microloans are available for small agricultural businesses to start-up?
* What technical assistance is available for business planning for small businesses?
* What assistance is available for business registration?
The event is sponsored by the state Department of Business, Economic Development and Tourism's Community-based Economic Development Program, the Hawaii Enterprise Zone Program, the Business Action Center, Hawaii Small Business Development Centers and the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco.
