Three players on the University of Hawaii women's volleyball team reached double digits in kills on Friday in a 25-17, 25-16, 25-19 road victory over UC Riverside.
Jane Croson had 13 kills - eight in the second set - for UH (9-2, 2-0 Big West), the nation's seventh-ranked team. Emily Hartong added 11 kills and 10 digs and Ashley Kastl had 10 kills, with a .333 hitting percentage.
The Rainbow Wahine closed the first set on a 9-2 run. In the third, they trailed 10-6 before scoring 13 consecutive points.
Molokai High School graduate Kalei Adolpho had a kill and four block assists for UH, and Ginger Long, a Kamehameha Maui graduate, had three digs.
Amanda Vialpando had 11 kills for the Highlanders (5-9, 0-1).
The Rainbow Wahine will visit Cal State Fullerton today.
