Samuel A. Agapay, 65, of Kahului, passed away on September 8, 2012 at Maui Memorial Medical Center.
Services will be at the Christ the King Church. A night wake will be held Friday, Sept. 21, with visitation at 6:30pm, and mass at 7:30pm. Visitation will continue on Saturday, Sept. 22, 8:30am, with prayer service at 9:00am. Burial will follow at Maui Memorial Park, 10:30 am.
Nakamura Mortuary is assisting with arrangements.
Mr. Agapay was born on August 23, 1947 in Badoc, Ilocos Norte, Phils. He was the son of Catalino and Ramona Agapay. He was a custodian at Maui High School.
He is survived by his wife, Belinda Agapay; son, Jessie (Melvina) Agapay; Jefferson Agapay, Samuel (Doren) Agapay, Jr., James (Willina) Agapay; daughters, Josephine (Jhun) Salviejo and Cathy Agapay; a sister, Tessie Cuaresma; and eleven grandchildren.
Samuel was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He loved the ocean, spending time with his grandchildren, fishing, gardening, and dancing.
