HONOLULU (AP) - University of Hawaii football coach Norm Chow is reinstating two players who were suspended after pleading no contest to drunken driving.

Chow said Thursday he has decided to reinstate quarterback Cayman Shutter and punter Alex Dunnachie for the fourth game of the season - a road game against Brigham Young on Sept. 28.

"I have always emphasized the importance of responsibility and accountability; I also recognize that none of us are perfect and sometimes deserve a second chance," Chow said in a statement. "Cayman and Alex have done everything we have asked them to do since they were arrested this summer, and I am confident that they have learned from their mistakes."

The Warriors, who lost 49-10 to Southern California on Sept. 1, will play at home in their next two games, against Lamar on Saturday and against Nevada on Sept. 22 in the first Mountain West Conference game for UH.
