The following students with ties to Maui have earned academic honors at colleges and universities for the spring 2012 semester. Unless otherwise noted, the grade-point averages are on a 4.0 scale.
Gala K. Tubera of Pukalani has been named to the University of Rochester Dean's List. Tubera is a 2011 graduate of Kamehameha Schools Maui. She is the daughter of Lynn Tubera. To qualify, students must achieve a 3.4 or greater grade-point average.
Autumn Gapsis of Kula has been named to Eckerd College's Dean's List. To qualify, students must complete at least four courses with a grade-point-average of 3.75.
