Kahu Lowaena Puahaunani Hau, 72, of Wailuku, passed away on August 31, 2012 at her residence. She was born in Ulupalakua on September 7, 1939.
Visitation will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, September 11, 2012 at Kaahumanu Congregational Church in Wailuku, services will begin at 11 a.m., and cremation will follow.
Ballard Family Mortuary is assisting with the arrangements.
Lowaena was a retired cashier at Yamashiro Building Supply. She was also the Kahu at Kaahumanu Congregational Church in Wailuku.
She is survived by her sons, Harold N. (Pam) Campbell, and Patrick L. (Kim) Lee; brothers, George M. (Maile) Campbell, Paul N. (Lei) Campbell, Bruce K. Campbell, and Moses A. (Helen) Campbell Jr.; sisters, Susie Kamalani, Ruth U. Vilvens, Maybelle K. (Richard) Ka'a'a, and Bette K. Purdy; 6 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren.
