Claudio "Odiong" Bonilla, 89, died on August 21, 2012 at Hale Makua, Kahului.
Services will be held at Christ the King Church. Night wake will begin at 6:00 p.m., Thursday, September 6, with mass at 7:30 p.m.; visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m., Friday, September 7, with prayer service at 11:00am. Burial will follow at 12:30pm at Maui Memorial Park.
Nakamura Mortuary is assisting with arrangements.
Mr. Bonilla was born on November 6, 1922 in San Nicolas, Ilocos Norte, Phils.
He was a field laborer with Maui Land & Pineapple Co.
He is survived by his wife, Ines Felicitas Bonilla; sons, Silverio (Amy) Bonilla, Agripino (Ruth) Bonilla, Elepisio (Mary Lou) Bonilla, Cesar (Julie) Bonilla, Julio (Josie) Bonilla; daughter, Rosemarie (Erick) Coloma; brothers, Ricardo Bonilla and Elisio (Mila) Bonilla; sisters, Rosario Hernandez, and Dimodea Bonilla; 13 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
Claudio "Odiong" loved gardening and spending time with friends and family.
