Lolita Ibuos Yagin, 65

Lolita Ibuos Yagin, 65, of Kahului, Maui, passed away on August 23, 2012, at her home under Hospice care. She was born on January 15, 1947, in Sinait, Ilocos Sur, Philippines.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Friday, August 31, 2012, at Ballard Family Mortuary; service will begin at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will also be held from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 1, 2012, at Ballard Family Mortuary; service begins at 11:00 a.m.; burial will follow, 12:30 p.m., at Maui Memorial Park Cemetery (Main Section).

Lolita retired as a Clerk from Hawaiian Commercial & Sugar Company. She was recognized for her exemplary and unselfish services for pioneering in the establishment of the Valley Isle Church of Christ and for her invaluable assistance and support rendered to the promotion of God's word. In addition, Lolita was instrumental in the establishment of the Central Maui Church of Christ. She served as both President (1989-1991) and Treasurer (1994-1999) for the Sinaitenians of Maui. She is survived by her husband, Eddie I. Yagin; sons, Ray (Candace Navarro) Ibanez, Rodelio (Jurga) Ibanez, Celso Ibanez, Jim Ibanez; daughter, Imelda I. Kaneshiro; mother, Maura Rosete; brothers, Alfredo (Esperanza) Ibuos, Florencio (Gloria) Ibuos, Fernando (Janessa) Rosete, Prisco (Rosie) Rosete, Floro (Madeline) Rosete; sister, Charito (Rogelio) Yadao; and grandchildren, Cason, Anthony, and Athena Ibanez, Jaime-Lynn, James (Jay-Jay) Jr., and Michelle Kaneshiro, Darian, and Kyle Ibanez, Tiani, and Dalton Ibanez, and Chelsey (Jack) Ibuos.
