Now, wine lovers may dine at Ruth's Chris Steak House upstairs in the Shops at Wailea and across the ocean in the Lahaina Center and get a taste of some of the best wines on the market today.
That's because all 70 Ruth's Chris Steak Houses in the U.S. will uncork the 90+ Wine Dinner in conjunction with Wine Spectator magazine - all kicking off at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 23.

So that means, besides being able to enjoy 90+-rated wines at the dinner, that you may rest assured Ruth's Chris serves many all of the time.
The featured menu will begin with a first course of warm brie and pecan tartlet with savory apple-mango chutney and guava sauce, paired with Ferrari NV brut Metodo Classico, rated at 90 points.
For the second course, you may savor summer tomatoes with cucumber, feta, and Kalamata olives with 91-rated Planeta chardonnay.
The third course is lobster-and-chorizo risotto spiked with cognac and creamy lobster sauce paired with Santa Rita Triple C at 90 points.
Meat lovers may sink their teeth into the fourth course of filet mignon Oscar with sauce Bernaise and Ruth's Chris garlic mashed potatoes, paired with Col D'Orci Brunello di Montalcino 2007, rated at 94 points. This Italian stallion is over the top in taste.
For dessert, enjoy fresh strawberry shortcake with dark chocolate covered strawberries, paired with S.A. Prum - a German Groacher Himmelreich Riesling Spatlese 2009, rated at 92 points. Cost of dinner is $125 per person, plus tax and tip. Call 874-8880, or 661-8815.
