WAILUKU - Iao Intermediate School will be holding open houses for different grade levels Tuesday, Wednesday and Aug. 21 in the school's dining center.
The 6th-grade event will be held Tuesday, 7th grade on Wednesday and 8th grade on Aug. 21.
The open house will begin at 5:45 p.m. followed by classroom visitations and team presentations.
Parents or guardians are encouraged to attend, to meet teachers and to understand what the curriculum and classroom expectations are.
The school advises, though, that the open house is not the time for parent-teacher conferences.
Parents or guardians should bring a copy of their child's schedule.
Child care will be available for 4-to-9-year olds.
Those who prepaid for dinner after registration day may pickup their tickets at the door starting at 4:45 p.m. Dinner service begins at 5 p.m.
Members of the 8th-grade class who are interested may still prepay for dinner at the school office by the extended deadline of Tuesday. The tickets are $3 and includes a roast pork dinner plate, entertainment and a back-to-school lucky drawing for dinner tickets-holders.
