Mamori Nagao, 83, of Lahaina, HI, died on Aug. 1, 2012, in Kahului, HI.
Visitation will be at Lahaina Hongwanji on Friday, August 10, 2012 at 10:30am, with services to follow at 11:30am. The family request casual attire. In lieu of flowers and monetary gifts, the family requests donations be directed to the Lahaina Hongwanji or the American Cancer Society.
Nakamura Mortuary is assisting with arrangements.
Mamo was born in Lahaina, HI on October 13, 1928. He was a retiree of Bank of Hawaii (1952-1991), where he served as the Vice President of Operations, Maui.
He leaves behind his wife, Sue Nagao.
He is survived by sons James (Wanda) Nagao, Edmund Nagao; daughter Jeanne (Richard) Beach; brother George Nagao; sisters Haruko Nakamura, Tokiko Hirota; grandchildren Jared and Jamie Nagao, Jessica Beach-Swaney, Sierra Beach.
Mamo was a proud veteran of the US Army, an Eagle Scout and dedicated volunteer for the Boy Scouts, Troop 26, Lahaina, a member of Plebes Assoc., and of the Lions Club.
He loved to mow the lawn.
