HONOLULU (AP) - The governor has ordered all national and Hawaii flags at state offices and agencies to be flown at half-staff to mark respect for the fatal shootings at a Wisconsin Sikh temple.
Gov. Neil Abercrombie said the order is at the direction of President Barack Obama. The flags will fly at half-staff until sunset Friday. Hawaii National Guard flags are also to fly at half-staff.
On Sunday, a gunman opened fire at a Sikh temple in Oak Creek, Wis., killing six people and injuring others. The gunman was shot to death by police.
