Russell Kaohu Poaipuni, 68, of Pukalani, passed away on July 19, 2012, at his residence. He was born on May 21, 1944 in Puunene.
Visitation will be held from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 4, 2012 at Faith Family Fellowship, formerly Rose of Sharon Church in Wailuku, memorial service 11 a.m., private burial.
Ballard Family Mortuary is assisting with the arrangements.
Russell was a heavy equipment operator for Good Fellow Construction.
He is survived by his niece and caretaker, Jonnalynn (John) Lyons; brothers, Allen Poaipuni, and Roland "Choge" Poaipuni; sister, Geraldine "Kuulei" Kalawaia; and many nieces and nephews.
