Hanako Kawano, 91, of Haiku, died July 5, 2012, at Hale Makua, Kahului, HI.
Private services were held. Nakamura Mortuary assisted with arrangements. Family requests no koden, and no flowers.
Mrs. Kawano was born January 30, 1921, in Hana, Maui, HI.
She worked for Libby, McNeil & Libby Company as a Quality Controller.
She was predeceased in 2002 by her husband of 53 years, Takashi Kawano.
She is survived by sisters Geraldine Russell, Ann Gomes, Aline H. Rolaff, and Lucille (Hideo) Ogata.
"Hannah" enjoyed gardening and needlework.
