KAHULUI -- The Costco gas station near the Kahului Airport will be open for business Thursday morning.
There will be a short blessing beginning at 7:30 a.m. with the station opening at 8 a.m. Access to the station will be from Haleakala Highway on the Paia side of the current store entrance.
Unleaded regular and premium will be sold.
Jaime Havron, operations manager for Maui Costco, said he has not been informed yet as to the price of the gasoline. The wholesaler has a reputation for lower prices.
Sales will be to members only.
The store's regular hours will be 6 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Monday to Friday; and 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
