Richard T. Matsuura, 81, of Pasadena, California, passed away on May 29, 2012 at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in California.
Richard was the owner of Ri-Mat Enterprises, Inc., of Los Angeles, California. He was also a World War II United States Air Force Veteran.
A Celebration of his life was held in Los Angeles, and private services were held on Maui with arrangements by Ballard Family Mortuary.
He is survived by his wife, Jewell (Samuelson); daughters, Nichole Y. (David) Kuo, Michele Y. (Robert) Shibuya, Candace S. (George) Iwanyc Matsuura, all of California; sister, Alice M. Kono of Kahului; and 7 grandchildren.
