* What do you think is the biggest problem facing youth today? "I think that the biggest problem facing our youth today is how we've become so dependent on technology. We spend countless hours on the computer and our cellphones with all their advance applications. We're constantly texting or on Facebook. We have forgotten how to have an actual verbal conversation with each other. If we don't know something, we 'Google it.' If we take a cool picture, we 'Facebook it.' Modern technology has its advantages, but when we forget the human side, we become nothing more than an object, like a computer or a cellphone. We need to remember about the paradise we live in. We need to enjoy the realities of living on Maui and its people. We need to ensure that modern technology does not control our lives. We need to grow as humans and not as robots."
