HONOLULU - The University of Hawaii baseball team concluded its regular season with an 8-3 victory over Nevada on Saturday at Les Murakami Stadium.
Piikea Kitamura and Kaeo Aliviado each hit two-run singles in a six-run third inning for the Rainbows (30-23, 10-8 Western Athletic Conference). Aliviado finished 2-for-4 with a double. Garrett Champion was 2-for-4 with an RBI and two runs.
The Wolf Pack (31-23, 11-7) would have clinched the WAC's outright regular-season championship with a win, but will instead share the title with San Jose State - and possibly New Mexico State, which faces San Jose State today.
