Rhoda Kealoha Paz Baria and Kyle Murphy Thalman were married March 21, 2012, in Hughesville, Md., on the estate of the groom's grandfather.
The bride is the daughter of Rida Paz-Baria and Rodolfo Baria of Makawao. She is a 2006 Baldwin High alumna, earned a certificate of performance from the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York City in 2008 and received her Bachelor of Arts in theater from the University of Hawaii at Manoa last year. She is a sales representative for Geico Direct.
The groom is the son of Cynthia Wright Thalman and Charles Thalman of Maryland. He is a 2005 graduate of Thomas Stone High and earned a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from UH-Manoa in 2011. He is the lead engineer with Hawaii Energy Consultants.
