SACRAMENTO, Calif. - The University of Hawaii baseball team fell into third place in the Western Athletic Conference standings with a 10-3 loss to Sacramento State on Saturday.
Max Duval was 2-for-3 with a two-run single for UH (28-20, 8-6 WAC), which set a season high for runs allowed in a WAC game.
Rhys Hoskins was 3-for-5 with a two-run homer for the Hornets (28-23, 10-7).
The Rainbows' Jarrett Arakawa (6-5) allowed six runs in four-plus innings.
Tanner Mendonca (6-7) permitted three runs in six innings.
The teams will finish their three-game series today.
