HONOLULU - Matt Sisto allowed two runs on five hits over seven innings as the University of Hawaii baseball team won the opener of its nonconference series against St. Mary's (Calif.) 3-2 on Friday at Les Murakami Stadium.
Collin Bennett went 2-for-3 with two RBIs for the Rainbows (20-13). With the game tied at 2-2 in the fourth, Bennett scored on an errant pickoff attempt at first base.
Sisto improved to 6-3.
Martin Agosta (5-2) took the loss for the Gaels (15-16).
