KULA - Easter week services at Waipuna Chapel have been announced.
The schedule follows:
Palm Sunday, Sunday, 8:30 and 10:30 a.m., services, which will include the beginning of the Easter story by remembering Jesus' triumphal entry into Jerusalem. The message will be given by Youth Pastor Kaipo Thomas and a special closing song offered by the Children's Choir. There will be a children's program for ages 3 to14.
Inter-Active Devotional Journey, Monday to April 6, 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., a self-guided multimedia prayer journey taking the seeker from Gethsemane, to the Cross, to the Resurrection.
Day of Preparation Prayer Service, Wednesday, 6 to 8 p.m., praying through the psalms led by Pastor Shaun Waite.
Good Friday Service, April 6, 7 to 8 p.m., a quiet service of reflection on the crucifixion of Christ. There will be message by Waite and a children's program for ages 3 to 12.
Easter Sunday Services, April 8, 8, 9:30, 11 a.m., a Celebration Service of Jesus' resurrection, message by Waite, special music by the Waipuna Choir, Egg Hunt and children's program for ages 3 to 12.
